Chapter History

The Masters Chapter, originally the Fort Gordon Chapter of the USA Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA), has a storied past with periods of inactivity and revival. Founded in 1974, with by-laws established in 1980, it first closed in April 2002. A 2005 revival attempt failed, leading to its 2008 dissolution. Efforts in 2010 under the new name 'Fort Gordon Masters' were also unsuccessful.

However, a pivotal moment came on February 3, 2015, when the Masters Chapter received an operating charter from USAWOA's National Headquarters. This day also marked the official assumption of roles by the newly elected leadership. The chapter's resurgence continued, gaining authorization to operate at Fort Gordon Installation on May 1, 2015, opening a new chapter in its history.

While we only aided in the overall effort, we are proud off the support we got this year, and owe a huge thank you to Randy and Doug for their efforts.Β
